About Us
Some years ago I took up running and like everyone else pulled on my big t-shirt and leggings and off I went. It was hard and made me puff and sweat and my t-shirt got damp and cold in winter and damp then stiff in summer - not good. My running partner suggested that if we were going to overcome these somewhat unpleasant experiences we should look into buying clothes made for getting hot and sweaty in. And what a revelation, there were attractive performance fabrics which wicked away sweat and dried, well dry!
The frustrating thing was that performance fabrics were generally made up into a very limited set of shapes and styles, often with tight armpits or stiff seams or just plain dull.
We went on a mission to find things that looked good and felt good and realised how difficult it was, there is a lot of the same old, same old, and not enough of the stuff that makes me feel good and look great.
There were lots of sports supermarkets full of bargains and football wear, all hugely orientated to male ball sports. There was almost nothing for women who need sportswear that looks great and feels even better! So the concept for No Balls, sportswear for women for non-ball sports was born.
My mission to bring you attractive, high quality performance wear is live and on course. I have found some excellent suppliers of Yoga wear, Running, Triathlon and Fitness wear - all performance wear i.e. the fabrics are appropriate for the sport, all beautifully designed and made, and fit for the purpose. The first two brands are available on line and the others will follow in April - join the No Balls experience and we will send you an email as soon as new ranges arrive.
I do not think we should limited ourselves to thinking that something made for yoga, or triathlon is not absolutely lovely to run or go to the gym in, and therefore present the goodies by activity and by item so that you can choose and mix and match.
No Balls has its own branded fitness wear and will continue to find sources of other brands that meet my exacting standards.
If you have designed a sportswear range which you would like to re-sell or know of something that everyone should know about then get it touch, I would love to hear from you.
Enjoy!!!!
