Actress Hannah Waterman drops five dress sizes

Ex-Eastenders star Hannah Waterman has lost two-and-a-half stone by exercising in her women's fitness wear and eating healthily.

The actress, who played Laura Dunn in Eastenders, has dropped from a size 16 to a size six to eight since she embarked on the strict diet and fitness regime five months ago.

She decided to lose weight after newspapers published unflattering photos of her in a bikini on holiday earlier this year.

Ms Waterman is releasing a fitness DVD called Body Blitz and hopes that women will put on their fitness wear and follow her exercise routines.

"I hope my new DVD Body Blitz shows people what I've learnt through my trainers. It's hardcore, not a dancing-around-your-handbag routine! It's about healthiness, not weight," she told Closer magazine.

The 34-year-old is married to Eastender's co-star Ricky Groves, who plays Garry Hobbs.

Mr Groves is currently taking part in the BBC's Strictly Come Dancing and has also lost weight through the intense dance training involved.ADNFCR-2569-ID-19423928-ADNFCR
