An asthmatic woman lost eight stone through exercise in women's fitness wear after the humiliation of asking for a seatbelt extension on an aeroplane.
Sharon Williamson was shocked when she looked at her holiday photos and saw that she was the largest woman on the beach, the Sun reported.
After dropping six dress sizes 52-yer-old was signed by several modelling agencies as an older model.
Speaking to the newspaper, she said that she tried going to the gym but found it boring.
"I got to the stage where I knew I had to start exercising but I am asthmatic so I honestly wasn't sure if I needed to avoid exercise completely," she added.
According to the NHS exercise-induced asthma is, for most people, an indication of poorly controlled asthma, therefore, it is essential for sufferers to exercise but they should contact their doctor first for an asthma review.
Asthma UK said that asthma sufferers donning their ladies sportswear should not push themselves too hard and increase their fitness levels gradually.
