Staff at the Boots store in Boston have donned their men's and ladies fitness clothing and cycled the equivalent of 100 miles on an exercise bike to raise money for charity.
The employees gained sponsorship of £354.38, which will go to Macmillan Cancer Support, the Boston Standard reports.
Staff from Boots stores across the nation have been taking part in similar challenges with the aim of covering 290,000 miles in total - one mile for every person diagnosed with cancer each year in the UK.
"The response from customers has been fantastic. One lady emptied all the change in her purse out. Everybody's been really kind and generous," said Maria Martin, store manager at the Boston Boots branch.
Butterfly badges are on sale in the store in an attempt to raise even more money for the Macmillan appeal.
Tomorrow (September 11th), cyclists will be taking part in a 100km bike ride in Somerset to raise money for the British Heart Foundation.
