Women in Bristol will soon have the opportunity to don their ladies fitness wear and start exercising more as a health club in the city has been refurbished.
The health club at Cadbury House hotel in Congresbury has undergone a £50,000 makeover and now includes a greater array of gym equipment, Leisure Management reports.
One of the club's walls was knocked down, creating a larger area for members to stretch in their gym clothing.
Jason Eaton, manager of the club, said: "We have added lots of equipment and more space for people to exercise, making the atmosphere in the club relaxed and spacious."
The club now has a large indoor, heated pool, a spa, salon, children's gym area and dance and exercise studios.
Mr Eaton believes that the club is now the best in the region but suggested that he and the owners will continue to think of ways it can be improved.
Singer Rachel Stevens recently revealed to the Daily Mirror that she tries to go to the gym as often as she can and also likes taking part in yoga sessions.
