Brits want to Just Dance to Lady Gaga, poll shows

09 March 2010 11:50

Lady Gaga's Just Dance single is set to get women dancing in their gym clothing later this month, it has been claimed.

Five hundred men and women voted in favour of the Poker Face hitmaker's new track being the best tune todance to, in a poll carried out by UK dance event Move It.

Four in ten respondents voted Lady Gaga's track as their favourite to get down to in their women's gym wear at Move It, which will take place between March 12th and 14th.

Michael Jackson was voted the UK's favourite all-time dancer in the poll (40 per cent), while Darcey Bussell came in second place (28 per cent).

Respondents picked out Dirty Dancing as the most inspiring dance movie, with 60 per cent of the vote.

Ballet also topped the poll for Britain's favourite dance, which appears to be what Brits would prefer to do in their bamboo fitness wear.

Those attending this year's celebration in bamboo sportswear will be able to take advantage of over 250+ dance classes to try, in addition to more than 180 exhibitors being available to browse.
