A businesswoman from Newcastle has launched a venture that aims to help busy mums to get more physically active in their ladies fitness clothing.

Sally Devine's service, called Devine Bodies Personal Training, provides childcare while mums work up a sweat, the Journal reports.

She came up with the idea after she gave birth to her son Alfie and discovered it was hard to find the time to work off her post-baby weight.

"Like many mothers, it was important for me to regain self-esteem and spend a bit of time on myself," Ms Davine told the newspaper.

She operates Devine Bodies from a private gym at her home in Benton and her neighbour Rachel Ronan, a registered Ofsted childminder, provides childcare during the exercise sessions.

Back in May, Coronation Street actress Samia Smith told Closer magazine that she took part in regular Pilates sessions in order to shed her excess baby weight.
