The Change4Life campaign has been launched in Wales, aiming to get families to lead healthier lives by donning their gym wear and taking part in more fitness activities.
Heritage minister Alun Ffred Jones launched the campaign earlier this week in Llandaf Fields, Cardiff.
Buggyfit,a physical activity class for those with babies, was also at the launch.
The class sees parents meet at Llandaf Fields each week in their gym wear or ladies fitness clothing and take part in gentle circuits with their children in pushchairs.
Mr Jones said: "Simple changes to our lifestyle can improve our health, help us to live longer and set a good example to our children."
He also called on organisations that deal with families to promote Change4Life in order to improve the success rate of the campaign.
"We want to kick-start a lifestyle revolution and create a healthier, happier Wales," Mr Jones added.
Overweight 45 to 65-year-olds in Haringey are also being encouraged to don their gym wear and get exercising in order to lose excess weight.
Haringey NHS has published leaflets, titled Swap It, Don't Stop It, providing tips and information on how to control weight without necessarily sacrificing favourite guilty pleasures.
