Copying extreme celeb exercise routines 'can be dangerous'

Copying the intense fitness regimes of famous celebrities in women's gym clothing can lead to dangerous over-exercising, a personal trainer has warned.

"Some celebrities are taking their workouts to dangerous levels," Dan Corbett, a personal trainer at Gymbox told the Times.

"They work out to the point at which their body-fat levels become so low, there are signs of muscle wastage and fatigue," he added.

The NHS warns people to be careful when they exercise and to not over do it, advising people to stop exercise immediately if they experience pain or feel dizzy, faint or nauseous.

Drinking plenty of water when exercising in women's fitness wear prevents dehydration. One glass of water for every 20 minutes of exercise is a good amount to aim for according to the NHS.
