Women who want to get the most out of their fitness regimes should make sure they are wearing the correct ladies sportswear, an expert has claimed.
Fitness, diet and lifestyle expert Joanna Hall suggested in Marie Claire magazine that practicing sport or just exercising in general while in made-for-purpose women's sportswear will make a big difference.
Mentioning footwear, she recommended anatomically-correct socks with ribbed arch support, mesh air channels and even those containing silver fibres, which exfoliate the skin and eliminate moisture.
"Sock shopping may not be as thrilling as a spree on the latest Louboutins, but if you want to maximise your fitness regime, it's worth banishing those greying ankle rags to the back of your drawer," she concluded.
Earlier this year, Reebok fitness trainer Vinita Shetty told the Hindu that it is important for women to wear well-fitting and comfortable gym clothing when working.
She explained that this is necessary as it provides necessary support while also helping to maintain an optimum body temperature.
