Don ladies fitness wear and consult Active Together brochure to stay fit in 2010

Women in Leicestershire who are interested in donning their ladies fitness wear and exercising more in the new year should consult the Active Together brochure which is now available.

Published yesterday (December 22nd),the Charnwood Borough Council's Active Together brochure outlines the fitness activities and initiatives that are taking place in the area until March.

The brochure includes details of many activities, ranging from walks, dance classes, Pilates sessions and yoga.

Women can also don their ladies running wear and take part in organised runs or a variety of sports.

Councillor Peter Lewis, lead member for culture and leisure at Charnwood Borough Council, said: "There is no excuse not to get active as there is really is something for everyone."

"I would urge people to pick up a brochure, find out what suits you and fulfil those new year resolutions to keep fit and active," he added.

Health organisation Bupa recommends running as a great way to get fit and to build bone and heart strength.
