Women hoping to lose a few pounds before their wedding days should don their ladies fitness wear and take part in a one-month exercise regime, according to a celebrity trainer.
Marcos Borges, who has worked as a personaltrainer to Gwen Stefani and Beyonce, has devised a 31-day programme in conjunction with the American Wedding Channel that aims to help brides-to-be to slim down for their big day.
The first week of the programme focuses on building up core muscles as well as the glutes, shoulders, hamstrings and abdominals.
One simple exercise move that Borges recommends women to start off with, perhaps in their gym clothing, is the squat press.
He claims that this can build strength and endurance and can be done with body weight alone or with added weights.
Earlier this week, a study commissioned by laser eye specialist Ultralase revealed that the biggest concern of 33 per cent of brides when it came to their wedding day is looking good in the photographs.
