Women's sportswear designers may have been inspired by this year's EcoChic event, which took place in Geneva this week.
The show was used to highlight the potential of biodiversity and how clothes manufacturers can sustainably use natural resources.
Hosted at the UN's Palais des Nations, EcoChic was organised by Green2greener, a Hong Kong-based charity that put on a series of exhibitions and talks in addition to a catwalk show.
"All fabrics used in the show will be made from natural fibre and manufactured in the most sustainable and ecologically-sensitive way as possible," EcoChic organisers said.
Fashion designers invited to the show were able create whatever type of garment they liked, as long as it was either red, black or white/cream.
Bamboo fitness wear is becoming increasingly popular in the eco-sports fashion field, with garments usually made from a mixture of bamboo, organic cotton and elastane fabric.
EcoChic culminated with a high-profile gala evening on Thursday (January 21st), with the exhibition remaining open to the public until February 4th.
