Those looking to lose weight should don their ladies fitness wear and try to get at least 30 minutes of exercise as part of their daily schedule, an expert has claimed.
Jonny Lyman, writing for 24hournewsdesk.com, has highlighted the fact that activities such as jogging or running are particularly easy to integrate into your routine.
He added that people should also try and adopt their lifestyles to get additional exercise outside of this time, whether this is by walking rather than driving to the shops or taking the stairs rather than the lift.
Mr Lyman advises: "Do your workouts in the morning before breakfast. This is one of the oldest tricks in the book. This starts your day off right by raising your metabolism. Exercise followed by a nutritious breakfast will set the pace for your metabolism for the rest of the day."
Debbie Lawrence, writing for the Western Mail, recently emphasised the fact that the majority of New Year's fitness resolutions fail at this time of year, making it especially important to focus on keeping up with one's targets.
