Fitness instructor Gemma Brodie has got her "heart set" on making the Great Britain women's boxing team for the 2012 Olympics.
Speaking to the Daily Record, the full-time fitness instructor from Glasgow said that she loves getting in the ring in her women's fitness gear for a sparring match.
She told the newspaper: "At the end of the day, that's my dream. I have got my heart set on it.
"The Scottish girls have got a good chance of being in the squad. By 2012, I will be in my prime. Boxing is a passion for me and I love it."
Women's boxing was given official approval for inclusion in the 2012 Games by the International Olympic Committee earlier this month.
The decision has already sparked controversy, but could see the profile of the sport raised in the UK, where it will have its Olympic debut.
