Women heading to the gym in their ladies fitness wear should add variety to their fitness routine to avoid becoming stuck in an exercise rut, a personal training manager has claimed.
Graeme Marsh, a trainer at Virgin Active, suggested that mixing up different exercises would allow a person to achieve greater results and that interval training is the best thing to do if weight loss is their goal.
Rich Leigh, weight loss expert, and founder of fatfreefitness.co.uk, agreed: "If you are doing the same thing week in, week out, session in, session out, there's the opportunity to get very bored and disheartened with what you're doing."
He went as far as saying it is "key" to make changes to a routine.
Mr Leigh recommended making the most of the improving weather by training outdoors, perhaps in ladies running clothing, as this is free of charge and can also be quite sociable if a partner or friend is involved.
