It's never too late to start donning ladies fitness wear and toning-up in preparation for hitting the beach, according to Women's Fitness.
Joanna Knight, editor at the magazine, said that four weeks, or even less, is plenty of time tolose a bit of weight before going on holiday.
"Make sure you do three or four cardio sessions a week, incorporating interval training where you train between high and moderate intensities," she recommended.
Ms Knight went on to say that it is "vital" to do a bit of weight and resistance training as well.
"Train your upper and lower body on consecutive days to maximise results," she added.
Those aiming to tone up their legs in their ladies fitness clothing should focus on running and using the cross trainer at the gym as well as doing regular sets of squats and lunges.
This will give women envy-inducing pins to show off in what Vogue magazine is hailing as this summer's must-buy - miniscule shorts.
