Kate Hudson has revealed that she attends regular pole dancing sessions and strips off her ladies fitness wear to keep her body curvy but trim.

The actress, speaking to the Daily Star, said that she was unsure about taking up the hobby until after her first session, when she was "hooked".

"It has changed my body drastically. I've never been stronger," she added.

Kate said that she enjoys the sessions as she does not have to take them too seriously and those taking part have a great time kicking up their heels and stripping off.

The 29-year-old went on to say that, at school, she was a keen footballer, but now she favours canoeing hiking, scuba-diving and cycling.

Researchers from the Harvard School of Public Health recently published the results of a study which revealed that cycling and brisk walks are excellent forms of exercise for pre-menopausal women hoping to prevent weight gain.
