Women terrified at the thought of stripping down to their bikinis on holiday should prepare by donning their ladies fitness wear and taking part in aerobic activities, an exercise expert has claimed.
Nicki Waterman, writing in the Sun, advised women that this type of exercise will burn fat and, therefore, maximise weight and inch loss.
She recommended eight forms of aerobic activity - running, walking, cycling, swimming, aerobic exercise classes, rollerblading, cardiovascular machine workouts and exercise DVDs.
Ms Waterman explained that it does not take much to achieve great results: "You need to take just 30 minutes out of your day to commit to some kind of exercise."
But she advised women to check with their doctors before they don their ladies fitness wear and embark on a new fitness plan.
Earlier this month, Belinda White, fashion director at handbag.com, suggested that women looking for a new bikini or swimming costume to show off their newly trim bodies should opt for something simple that is inspired by ladies sportswear.
