Healthy eating is achievable on a budget, according to the Budget Cook Off section on Loyds TSB's new Savvy Saver student hub.
The service is an all-round guide for students, advising them on how to manage finances during their time at University.
It has now launched the Budget Cook Off section, which contains practical tips for healthy eating with limited finances and also offers a video showing students putting the budget cooking tips into practice.
The pages also advise prospective students on how to find the best deals on food in the shops and habits to avoid, such as junk food and eating out, in order to make the most of their money.
Putting on women's fitness wear and going for a 30 minute run five times a week instead of paying for a gym membership is another way of staying healthy while on a budget.
