Middle-aged women don ladies gym clothing for pain-free exercise

Women over the age of 40 have been donning their ladies gym clothing and enjoying pain-free exercise in a comfortable armchair environment.

Motorcise Exercise at 45 Fleet Street in Torquay has been offering this group the chance to keep fit without venturing too far out of their comfort zone, thisisdevon.co.uk reports.

The centre includes exercise machines that can be adjusted to each person's body strength without putting any undue strain on weak or painful areas.

"I joined five years ago and have never looked back. It takes just 30 minutes for a full body workout so I easily fit it in around my work and family," said rheumatoid arthritis sufferer Amanda Chadwick.

She went on to say that the exercise affords her a better quality of life and that she can not imagine being without it now.

Back in May, research conducted by the University of Texas' Medical Branch at Galveston revealed that elderly people can boost their muscle mass by taking part in resistance exercise training in combination with blood flow restriction practices.
