Personal trainers 'can help women in ladies fitness clothing'

Donning women's gym clothing and hitting the treadmill should form only part of an effective fitness regime, it has been claimed.

According to representatives of sports centre Real Deal Fitness, personal trainers play a crucial role in helping women get into better shape.

In a statement the group commented that those trying to work out generally do not know how to design an effective exercise program for themselves.

"Rather than losing the weight they planned, they find themselves floating around the gym aimlessly or eating the right foods in the wrong quantities," the organisation added.

The firm went on to say that personal trainers can design an effective program that is customised to the client's needs and then provide them with the motivation and accountability they need to follow through.

This week, Dr Dan Rutherford wrote for the Telegraph that putting on ladies fitness wear and taking part in more exercise activities are among the best things women can do to improve their overall health.
