Women who feel they are close to burning out in their ladies gym wear should reassess their exercise goals.
Those who set unrealistic weight loss goals are setting themselves up to fail, so women should slowly build on the amount of exercise they do a week instead, according to Closer magazine.
It recommends starting with 20 minutes of exercise a week and then adding an extra ten minutes to this every fortnight.
"If you over-exercise, your body can't recover in time for the next session," the magazine explained.
The author of the piece, Ty Stewart, also recommended planning ahead. He explained that research had shown it takes at least five weeks for exercise to become a habit, so women should "make a detailed five-week plan on when, where and what you are going to do" in their ladies fitness wear.
Earlier this month, Rich Leigh, weight loss expert and founder of fatfreefitness.co.uk, said that exercising with others, rather than alone, can provide more motivation to keep fit and to lose weight.
