While many women may see ladies' fitness wear being something that certain superstars may not need, one celebrity has highlighted how she had a particularly gruelling time when training for a new film role.
Scarlett Johansson is poised to become a cult hero upon her portrayal of Natasha Romanoff - otherwise known as the Black Widow - in the upcoming film Iron Man 2, fighting alongside leading man Robert Downey Jr.
However, in order for her to do the stunts required of the role she was playing, Scarlett needed to be strong to carry them off perfectly, she told the Glasgow Sunday Mail - something which regularly required her to be in women's sportswear.
She explained: "A lot of that was just being able to have stability, to have balance, and flexibility and strength and all of that stuff. It involved a lot of training."
Her taste in food also changed, with the star eating "a lot of omelettes, turkey, stuff like that" in order to maintain her physique.
Iron Man 2 is scheduled for release on May 7th and is tipped to be the blockbuster of the summer, following the success of the original.
