Actresses Teri Hatcher and Felicity Huffman took part in the Nautica Malibu Triathlon charity event today, wearing a range of women's fitness wear to suit each section.
Hatcher, who plays Susan Mayer in the hit series Desperate Housewives, and Huffman, who plays Lynette Scavo, swam half a mile in the Pacific Ocean, cycled 18 miles along the Pacific Coast Highway and then ran four miles back along Zuma beach, Malibu.
Former Superman star Hatcher trained for months in women's sportswear to improve her fitness for the triathlon.
David Hasselhoff kicked off the event, in which a number of other famous faces took part including Huffman's actor husband William H Macy, Brothers & Sisters actor Matthew Rhys, tennis player Anna Kournikova and Saved By The Bell star Mario Lopez.
Karen Murray, president of Nautica said: "We're thrilled to congratulate the winners but much more than that, we're truly excited and grateful for the opportunity to help the patients, families and researchers at Children's Hospital Los Angeles who inspire us to swim, bike and run our hearts out every year."
Hatcher, who finished tenth in two hours, 28 minutes, set up her own fundraising website for the Children's Hospital in Los Angeles and hopes to raise $10,000 (£6,046).
