Donning ladies fitness wear and taking part in regular exercise is a well-known way of boosting circulation, but recent research has shown that tomatoes can also increase blood flow.
The European Commission (EC) has confirmed that Fruitflow, a new nutrition and health ingredient developed in Britain, contributes to healthy blood flow around the body through maintaining normal platelet aggregation.
A water-soluble tomato concentrate, Fruitflow received approval from the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) in May this year.
Stephen Moon, chief executive officer of Provexis, owners of the worldwide marketing rights to Fruitflow, said: "Consumers who are worried about their cardiovascular health can now take Fruitflow, confident that its benefits are scientifically proven and that its claims have been rigorously tested and approved by the EC."
Women should not just rely on tomato juice to improve their blood flow, they should still continue to exercise, possibly in their ladies fitness wear, as, according to the British Heart Foundation, keeping fit improves circulation and strengthens the heart and bones.
