Tricia Penrose dons ladies fitness wear to drop two dress sizes

28 April 2010 09:54

Tricia Penrose has dropped two dress sizes after donning her ladies fitness wear, exercising more and eating a healthier diet.

The actress, most famous for her role as Gina Ward in Heartbeat, was motivated to lose weight after her sonsaw her round stomach and asked if she was pregnant.

Last year she dropped to a size ten but the weight crept back on over eight months until she reached her heaviest ever weight of 11st 1lb.

Tricia is now back in her size ten clothes having slimmed-down again to just 9st 7lbs.

She revealed to Closer magazine some of the exercises that she did, perhaps in her ladies gym clothing, to shed the excess weight.

Tricia recommended the Plank: "I hold this for a minute. Your belly wobbles while you do it, but it really helps strengthen your stomach and core muscles."

Another celeb, ex-Playboy model Kendra Wilkinson, has been donning her ladies fitness clothing recently in an attempt to get rid of the last of the 3st 7lbs that she gained during pregnancy.

Her efforts are being documented for a workout video due to be released over the coming months.
