Women who have recently invested in some ladies gym clothing for the first time should use a method of trial and error to find the right form of exercise for them, an expert has suggested.
David Higgins, co-founder of TenPilates, wrote inthe London Evening Standard that he was surprised at how many people had a negative attitude towards exercise.
He went on to say that these attitudes exist because people have not yet come across a method of fitness that they enjoy - be it salsa dancing, Pilates or even a circus skills class.
"Once you've found something that works for you, you're already halfway there. Then all you need is a good fitness professional who'll help you achieve the other 50 per cent," Mr Higgins concluded.
Those with health complaints can find it even more difficult to discover a form of exercise that suits them, but Vicky Joseph, a back pain sufferer, explained in a piece on the NHS website that she found hers in the form of Pilates.
