Women who enjoy donning their ladies fitness wear and raising money for charity are being called upon to take part in what is being billed as the UK's largest outdoor fitball workout.
Medical insurance company Simplyhealth will give 150 women a free brightly coloured fitball and yoga mat which they will use during the mass workout that is to take place from 08:30 to 09:00 on Thursday, March 18th.
Celebrity fitness trainer Cat Dugdale, whose previous clients have included American actor Kiefer Sutherland from the hit TV show 24, will be leading the exercise session at Trafalgar Square in London.
Simplyhealth is to donate £15,000 to Breast Cancer Campaign, which is equivalent to £100 for every woman that puts on their ladies yoga clothing and takes part.
In January, DnaIndia.com reported that researchers from Swami Vivekananda Yoga Anusandhana Samsthana and Bangalore Institute of Oncology tested yoga relaxation techniques on breast cancer patients and found that they were effective in tackling the shock that these patients experienced following diagnosis and radiotherapy.
