A new fitness campaign is set to target women and encourage them to do more activities in ladies sportswear, it has been revealed.
The Women's Sport and Fitness Foundation (WSFF) is looking for an advertising agency to spearhead its new national campaign, reports Marketing Week.
Targeting women and girls, the charity hopes that it can make sport as appealing to girls and women as to boys and men.
WSSF was set up to research the barriers that exist to women and girls from leading active lives, while developing innovative solutions and raising awareness.
The charity's chief executive officer Sue Tibballs recently praised the International Olympic Committee for its decision to include women's boxing from 2012.
She said: "With the sport dating back to the 1720s, it's been a long, hard, fight to get to today's decision, but we hope it represents a wider move towards gender equality at the Games."
