An Indian yoga Guru told an audience of doctors from over 26 countries that practicing yoga could lead to a disease-free society.
Baba Ramdev demonstrated some yoga positions to the group of doctors at the two-day International Symposium on Medicinal and Nutraceutical Plants.
Ramadev said: "Yoga is a science and all the doctors who have faith in Indian medicine and Indian values it will be a matter of pride for them that they are attending this Symposium.
"We gave the world the knowledge of the medical science when the world was ignorant of it and even today we are capable of giving the humanity a diseases free life."
According to the NHS, women that want to improve flexibility and posture should put on their bamboo yoga wear and take part in yoga classes. It said yoga helps to relax both body and mind and, as a low-impact form of exercise, is suitable for those with joint problems.
